Haha nightly dip just went soo wrong. Packed up on timberwolf peach as usual then figured what the hell... filled my cheek with redman. Nasty experience, leaf juices stirred up the dip round mah mouth. Try it!

Pretty informative
Found this on another website, its for the new guys who start dipping
Dip or chew.......... Well I shall say.........."Dip" is the stupidest thing I ever heard of. You can spot a kid, or new chewer by the fact that they say "Dip" Diffrence between Snuff and chew.........same thing basiacally...........here is you basics...... to leanr ya the right way ifn your going to chew.
1. Snuff is very fine cut.........now Copenhagen is pretty much the real snuff that you chew.........however there is Snuff that you snort as well........I prefer Dr. Rumneys menthol.......it clears the sinuses........howver it is way to fine to put in your mouth. It comes in a tin.......you thump a little on your thumb and snuff it in.
2. Chew is just what you generalize it as.......
3. Snoose.......is what the oldtimers call it........The true cowboys.........the loggers..... They will look at you crosseyed in the city if you tell them you want a can of snoose. However in the backwoods they know what you are talking about.
4. chewing tobaccy, or Leaf tobaca, is the whole leaf.........tates great, but runs out fast.........recomend Redman or Beechnut on that one.
5. now they got Long cut.......which is for the folks that just cant seem to old the regular snoose in one spot.
Now for brand names...........I reckon I tried bout all of them that are there......in fact some arnt around anymore at all.
Copenhagen..........the best and most unique tasting.......however it is also the highest price, and the one with the MOST nicotine content.
Skoal...........cope's major competitor, but more of a mint/wintergreen based snoose. Just dont have the flavor of cope.
Those are the two mainstays.
Then there is Kodiak...which is what the new chewers and kids chewed when I was in school. They were also stupid and spit in the water fountain at school........DONT DO THAT, its lame.
Redman & Beechnut, The two top Chewing leaf tobacoos. They are good and a nice alternative.
Rooster.....in my mind the best mint snoose on the market.
Grizzly, Cougar, Timberwolf, etc......the low nicotine, low cost, snoose for the ones that want to chew cheap..........or just chew because they think it is cool.
PLUG....hard to find anymore....but Days Work, and Cannon Ball, are the two best! I reccomend these when you are fishing..........they give a good strong flavor, and give you something to knaw on while your chewing.
Indian rolled plug...........get these at pow wows......... combination of plug and leaf....good stuff.
Ok.........some other ones just for sheets and geegles...........Gold River, and Apple Jack...........the sweetest two chews I ever had....... (sweet as in sugary not sweet as in cool) I have not seen these in years.
Right cut and WB cut..........Right cut is a mid cut snoose in a striped can....aint seen it around for awhile............WB Cut comes in a small pouch and is a fine long cut......almost like thick hair..but it does taste pretty darn good.
Bandits..........almost forgot about those..............Skoal had em first, now Cope...........a true waste of money.....you are basically buying half a can, just so that the grains dont get in your teeth, and they just dont taste right, not to mention it takes about 5 of them to make a decent chew.
SO TO SUM UP.........
If you want a good tasting chew.......and you dont mind spending the money, and you want the most bang for your buck.......go with COPE. If you want a minty flavor go with Rooster............... and if you are poor and just want to chew....go with Grizzly and the other cheapo ones on the market. The best solution to everything is shooting something.
Rep Back 150+, just mention rep back and ill get ya.

That last long post is horrible information and old.
Snus is swedish snuff, yes it's very fine, but it's also safer. No American company makes true snus (besides the snus pouches from camel.)
Snuff refers to both fine cut and long cut in general, but more towards fine cut.
Chew is what he says it is. I like Redman, Redman gold, Beechnut, and Levi Garrett. My pap used to chew WB Cut. Too me, it all pretty much tastes like raisens.
Skoal, Copenhagen, and Rooster are all owned by USSMC. Copenhagen doesn't have the most nicotine when compared to all the brands either.
Timberwolf is the safest and lowest in TSNA's out of all American dips, it's parent company is a Swedish Snus company. They use a different method of curing tobacco which results in a much safer and lower TSNA product.
Bandits do suck, I'll give him that.
I also hate the fruity dips for the most part because it is targeted more towards kids than anything else. I don't want kids starting to dip, as hypocritical as it may sound. If you want to dip tobacco, dip tobacco then, full flavor and not with the gay fruity additives.
According to that tool if you don't chew Copenhagen you only do it because it's cool.Ron Paul R3VOLUTION. Chew Crew.

Does anyone know of a site with any info of the amount of nicotine in each brand? To me, Grizz Wintergreen has been the strongest...and I've tried just about every other kind of dip that I can possibly get a hold of.
