No, as long as you fit it into your macros, its fine. Dietary cholesterol has no effect on your blood cholesterol. Eggs are the best source of protein and an excellent source of healthy fats. Even if you have 4 eggs a day, thats only 6g saturated fat. If you have high cholesterol, eat more stuff like whole grains and mono + polyunsaturated fats, as these are proven to lower bad cholesterol in your blood.

Probably depends on your existing cholesterol levels namely your HDL levels. If you have had your cholesterol tested IE. lipid panel done(HDL, LDL and trglycerides) than than you will know. If your HDL level is high enough than you probably have nothing to worry about. Get your cholesterol tested if you are worried you may have an issue. The test is done after fasting otherwise the levels will be inaccurate (very high). The test is not overly expensive and can let you rest easy.

I've read studies that show yolk consumption resulting in lower cholesterol. I used to eat 4-5 whole eggs fried every day, now I only eat 2-3 every day because I lift in the mornings.
yeah two eggs and 8 whites is better way to say it. Some people say they eat 10 eggs, but they're only talking about the egg whites. That amount is like like eating 4-5 whole eggs (with less micronutrients)

Answer: Depends
You would know through family history whether cholesterol is an issue or through a lipid profile test. In a majority of people, eating eggs is excess amount would not cause an increase in serum cholesterol. However, there are people out there that regardless of what they eat, their serum cholesterol is really high.
To find out, the best thing to do is do a lipid profile test now, eat your eggs (2-3+) and a month or two later.
I'm eating avg. 8 eggs a day for a long time now and recently had another lipid profile done (I had 3 total). All had the same results ~140mg/dL. Btw, an increase in cholesterol is not really a significant indicator for the risk of cardiovascular disease (Framingham study).mmmmm saturated fat....and cholesterol.
My favorite and daily foods are chocolate and yolks!
last lipid profile 1/2008:
TG- 45 mg/dL
HDL- 88 mg/dL
LDL (calc)- 51 mg/dL
Cholesterol- 148 mg/dL

No i personally don't think it's bad for you i eat a dozen eggs a day and have eaten steak for dinner every day for the past year i had a test to determine my cholesterol levels before this and recently had them re-tested and my blood cholesterol was actually lower,
Also in the past year i have cut out all carbs other than quinoa and green veg which i eat everyday and also cut out dairy my daily diet consists of salmon, beef, eggs, and whey in water. When i told my doctor that i believed i had reduced my cholesterol by cutting these things out he laughed and said it was just a coincidence, I have researched extensively and come to the conclusion that saturated fat is actualy good for you as long as you have a good balance of other fats. It's a diet high in carbohydrates (an unnecesary nutrient) that is the major dietary cause of bad health.Live dangerously and you live right.

Regardless of what the studies say, the easiest way for you to find out if it will affect your cholesterol negatively is to get your chol. levels checked now. Increase egg levels for a while (2 weeks maybe), and get it checked again.
