I am sure that I saw this on TV about 5 years ago. The guy getting beat up had covered himself in elk scent and went out trying to get some video to send in to americas funniest videos. his wife was the one behind the camera.

Easily Confused
Background on the vid (watched an interview with the guy):
Was trying to get a vid of himself "stalking" elk while using "Doe in heat" urine to mask his scent. The buck seemed somehow disapointed when he followed the scent of a horny doe but found a man insted. The deer was justifiably annoyed by this, so he sort of went off.
When the buck started attacking the guy wasn't really getting pummled all that bad, and he told his wife to "just keep filming". Eventually he got tired of the attack and climbed a tree.
When the opportunity has arrived,
