What do people typically take for dosages on the ECA stack?
ie. How much caffeine, ephedrine, aspirin?
I've heard about 2 cups of coffee, 50 mg ephedrine and a few tabs of aspirin. However I don't want to take aspirin because I'm not interested in fuk1ng with my blood. So how effective is the EC stack?? What sort of amounts would someone take?
What other readily obtainable fat loss supps actually have a real effect? (ie. Guggul Extract ? etc)
Feel free to list your top picks for fat loss supplementation. No AS though for the list... Thanks everyone...

i believe the general dosage for an E/C stack is 200mg caffeine and 25 mg of ephedrine, taken 3 times a day
just buy a bottle of caffeine pills and a bottle ephedrine pills, much cheaper than goin for a brand name ECA stack
im not sure about other supplements that help,
i've heard guggul and those other non-stimulant extracts work well alongside the actual EC stack.COMMITTMENT..CONQUERS..ALL

caffeine...
I've read that a cup has 40-150mg so I may need to boost up my coffee drinking. I have ephedrine tabs already...
Anyone with cheap suggestions for decreasing the waist (abdominal fat) let me know! I'm around 16% bodyfat but the vast majority seems to be around the gut area... I'm doing cardio and weights and the above stack but any other suggestions would be appreciated. 10% bf and 3 inches off the waistline are my goals.Sometimes the rewards are worth the risks...

Instead of drinking the coffee go to CVS and buy caffeine pills, there like 6 bucks for 120 caps, it's more convenient well to me anyways.

CVS is across the border. We do have crappy GNC stores here. I'm not into the idea of caffeine pills. Supposedly freshly brewed coffee has antioxidant properties. Fresh tea also has some other compounds that are good.
What other supps can help to increase metabolism / thermogenesis??Sometimes the rewards are worth the risks...

I was specifically looking for thrmogenic supplements. Things that are new or not as well known. I also figured others would be interested as well. As for doing a search, it has already been done. I can post what I have learned but was hoping to hear from others who actually have knowledge of leading edge concepts and research. (Doing a search on google is not leading edge in case you don't know). Thanks for the redundant suggestion.

Well, i've been taking both for about a year now. Both work well, but not as well as an ECA. They tend to increase the fatburning effects of any stimulating fatburner you take. Plus, both are non stimulating fatburners.

Aspirin is a blood thinner. I'm not interested in messing around with platlet functioning. I want to be able to form a clot within the normal time if I get injured. (I do other sports outside of the gym). In addition aspirin is hard on the gastro-intestinal tract. This should be reason enough to avoid it.
However since I am missing the 3 rd component of the ECA stack, I wanted to know what others felt could replace it. Anything that further increases thermogenesis and metabolism and is readily obtainable sound like good candidates to me.Sometimes the rewards are worth the risks...

Hey 97,
What are you using for a Y-HCL dosage with your EC?
I realize this is going to be subject to each individuals tolerance of the EC/Y combo, but I was wondering what you're doing.
Right now I'm actually doing the following dose pattern:
7:00am: 200mg caffeine/20mg ephedrine
9:30am: 200mg caffeine/25mg ephedrine/2.5mg Y-HCL
12:00 noon: 100mg caffeine/10mg ephedrine/2.5mg Y-HCL
2:30pm: 100mg caffeine/10mg ephedrine/2.5mg Y-HCL
5:00pm (pre-workout) 100mg caffeine/10mg ephedrine/7.5mg Y-HCL
A little heavy on the C/E in the AM, and then a big Y-HCL boost prior to workout.

Jory, you must be a rocket scientist. You are so smart. Guess what wizard, people die on a regular basis from taking aspirin and several other common over the counter drugs. If you do a search on medline you will find the case studies that show this. Perhaps you had better start freaking out on your grand-dad cause he is taking aspirin.
Similar to steroids, there are no real solid studies that prove the "great danger" that they pose. Case studies are not worth **** in the world of research. Double-blind randomized control studies are the standard to go by. But guess what? They don't seem to exist in any significant number. Science requires proof before you can say something. One rct study is not proof and a 1000 case studies aren't worth ****. The FDA will cave in to any percieved danger and ban something in order to retain public support. Once the FDA does something, the Canadian counterparts will soon follow and the media gets lots of attention from any percieved health risk out there so they mess things up even more. If you have a significant amount of rcts that support your point of view then post them and correct me. Otherwise shut it.Sometimes the rewards are worth the risks...
