is 5 sets of 10 - 15 repititions good to put on muscle?

gardo is completely correct,
if your bulking go for 6-8 reps at about 3-4 sets depending on how fast you go
no workout should exceed a time limit of 50 min. becuz your body is on a time limit agianst cortisol which is secreted by the pancrease 45-60 min. after a workout this hormone is very catabolic if your workout exceeds 50 min. cut it back
the only time you need to do 5x12-15 is if your cutting hence it can burn the hell outa calories and make you more definethe greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exsist
