How best to treat a bone injury
Alright, heres the scoop. I'm pretty new at MMA, so I still make elementary mistakes pretty often.
Well today, just like 3 hours ago, I was training with one of the instructors there, and I threw a side kick at him with my right leg, and I ****ed it up and kicked him in the shin real ****in hard.
So now my shin is ****ed. And if I dont do anything to at least reduce the pain, I'm going to have a big ass limp for like a week.
So how should I treat this? Right after I got it I finished up the match, basicallly hopping on my left foot, then I went and sat down for a few minutes until it started to heal a little bit, then I walked around the gym a few times.
I got home and I havent done anything to it yet, so how should I go about treating this?

Sounds more like a bad bruise. If the bone was broken you wouldn't have finished. How did you hit your shin on a sidekick?
Anyway: just use ice.

ice, rest, ibuprofen or acetominophen, if it persists for more than a week see a doctor. if it is a microfracture or a very serious osteoblast, calcium and vitamin D are always going to help.
