Getting over serious girlfriend...

I have a problem thats pissing me off....my high school girlfriend who i dated for a year and a half keeps popping into my mind. I'm a freshman in college now, 4 hours away from her. She is the only relationship i've ever been in (late bloomer). I'm a good looking, funny, and confident guy. But I can't shake her and start working my game in. I just feel rusty, and almost feel like I don't know where to start with girls. I haven't had to hunt for meat in so long... i'm in college, lots of great looking girls...its so ****ing frusterating to have her on my mind!

Any advice I could get about getting over a girl and moving on would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

don't think about "searching for meat." look for someone you can have as a friend.

It just takes time bro, Im just getting over my ex (she was the 1st girl I dated) I know its hard but just keep yourself busy

yea i realize the time thing...but its been 2 months...and she hates me for breaking up with her before college and is magnifying the mistakes i made when we were dating...i feel like i just need to tag some random tail..

we were both going to college, both going to be 4 hours away from each other...i'm in a fraternity at the top party school in the state, she's on an athletic scholarship. going different directions basically. It was the right move...it just sucks being first relationship, and knowing she's bitter towards me...

on the bright side i like the excitement of being single, but whenever i get into a convo with a girl, sometimes i'll think of my ex... and that is not good...
