Trent Strong's 24 Week Journey to the Northern KY
Its that time again...getting ready for a contest and I am excited.
I have brought most of my weakpoints (back, arms and chest) and added onto my strengths (legs, delts)
Currently I just turned 17 a couple months back and weigh around 225.5lbs. Not sure about my bodyfat so far. I am having it tested soon. As well having pictures on here soon.
For the next ten weeks I will be trying to still add on a bit of mass while incorporating cardio sessions and "mini cuts" so I should also be loosing bodyfat as well.
At 14 weeks out ideally I want to be 10-11% bodyfat. 14 Weeks out is when the true diet begins.
At 14 weeks out at 10% I will be able to loose around 1% bodyfat every other week. So at 1 week out I should be about 3.5% or so.
So hopefully during the next 10 weeks I will be adding inches onto muscle groups and loosing inches from the waist.
After that its the road to the Northern Kentucky bodybuilding contest.
Teen division!
-Trent

10 months (when I start dieting) of lots of food and very heavy , intense workouts
Gained about 16lbs of muscle or so according to bodyfat test.
I can gladly say I have made more progress in the past 10 months that Ive made anything I have ever done before.
Been working out for 1 year and 10 months now

I'm sure you will do well. I was under the impression you were taking a few years off. I'm a little over 1 month into my offseason (supposed to last for 2 years) and I already want to shred it up. This is going to be a LOONG wait.

Also man, I have to say I'm still confused as to why you don't do NANBF/INBF or other natty shows. Youd be an awesome teen competitor. And there are a BUNCH in/around your area. Dr. Joe is promoting a show in august.

I feel you on that man. Competing is already very expensive- still I would make the sacrifice to know that I am on a level playing field.

Yeah man..but imagine if you could stay anabolic for 1-2 YEARS. It could be really sweet! Just dont go crazy on junk food!
That being said- I'm pretty much mortified with my body right now..but I'm strong as an ox, and not a complete lardball..so the show must go on!

my diet has been clean for the last 4 weeks (compared to the binge).. i def put on a lot of fat in literally 8 days.. strength is almost 100% back, which amazes me
its tempting to just continue to bulk, but i didnt prove to myself **** this year being the only teen in BOTH my shows.. i want to prove i am better than other teens so i am entering a show which had 11 teen competitors last year and another somewhat large one as well
now that i actually am not a retard ill have a strict diet down 14 weeks out.. not sitting there 10 weeks out saying, oh **** looks im gonna do the contest and wing the hell out of it

That is very true
but my body responds extremly well to post competition training and bulk phase. I am talking just pounds of pounds of muscle mass surpassing what I had before the cut within just a few months, because I get so anabolic after my bodyfat gets very low.

You put on good mass I'm sure. What were your before/after stats (starting and ending weight and body comps)
I'm sure you also got freaky strong, but you probably put on more fat that you realize. Everybody is extremely anabolic after a cut- not just us young guys. But anabolic literally means "to build"- meaning that fat gain is also considered anabolism. LOL. See what I'm getting at? Trust me..I feel like I'm huge too.
You bulked for what..8 months. I'd say after your cut you will probably have 6 lbs at best. Any more is just not that common and very tough to do physiologically speaking.

I bulked for 10 months and already according to bodyfat test ive put on 15lbs of lean mass.
I hope when I diet down I dont loose 10lbs of muscle mass lol.
I hope this doesn't go by the wrong way to any natural out there but I really dislike how SOME naturals view them own selves. You put limitations on yourselves all the time. If someone makes above average gains most of the time you say that it isn't possible or highly unlikely. I know there is a big difference between reality and fairy tales as far as gained muscle mass but even Layne himself in his video series said he gained an incredible amount of lean muscle mass in a short amount of time since he started the video series. So to put a limit on the exact number on how much you can gain, or what you have to look like to be natural, is pure pompousness.
/end rant
If he can do that why would it be unlikely for me to make my gains???
Don't limit yourselves to the expectations.

that was actually a misprint on the 8 pounds it was only 5 pounds of lean mass, but i totally agree with what you are saying.
