So, I injured myself about 4 weeks ago during smolov, pulled a muscle in my groin. Today was my first day back, so I figured I'd just try to do 5x5 with 225. I successfully finished my sets, but where I pulled the muscle feels pretty irritated now, so I should probably just lay off of it for a bit longer. I can't just let my legs whither away though, however, so I need a replacement routine. Ive been deadlifting with no trouble at all, I only agitate it with deep squats. Would it be beneficial to just throw in good mornings in place of squat? If so, would I want to just do a 5x5 sort of deal? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

I would just take a week or longer off instead of risking really hurting yourself.
You will maintain just as much on your squat by resting as you would by doing so half assed work outs that might take you out for a long time. Think about the long run and just re-hab it with ice , hot baths and whatever else.Powerlifting
