I get the quaker oats, old fashioned or quick 1 minute, honestly, I don't see the difference between them, but those are the one's I use.

quick oats. If they're still too big, you can pre-grind them in a coffee grinder b4 putting them into your shake.

I believe quick oats have an outter husk removed which takes some nutrition value away..I just read that in a diff thread so dont hold me to it.

Put the oats in the blender and blend them before adding anything else. Then put your milk(liquid) in there with everything else. This completely gets rid of the oat chunks.

I know Kroger has it, but it's only in their organic section. Most Whole Foods type places probably have it, it's not expensive, but you may have to go there to get it.

Prolab makes a nice CHO powder from oat, barley and brown rice flours. I need to get some and work on a blend that comes out with as nice a consistency with protein powder as their Lean Mass Matrix.

you could let them soak a bit in water before you blend them so they soften up and are easier to blend.

    Eat them...
Stir 'em in plain nonfat yogurt/cc and eat 'em!
I do it pwo all the time!
    I do it w/instant oats.

I just dump powder into nonfat milk and drink it.
But so I look pretentious, I do it iced in Starbucks cup. They give ice cups out for free. And I drink through a little straw and everything...
