yo theres no such thing as too young as long as u dont go to heavy. its bull that its stunts ur growth i did a paper on it for speach class. the only harm that could come from it is that u might hurt ur joints if u go to heavy i say go for it.Anabolic-evolution.com owner

I agree with jrshortall... it looks like he knows what he's talking about. I did a study on this topic myself and it's not a good idea to do heavy free weight exercises at your age and especially no powerlifting and overhead presses. This can destroy epiphyseal growth plates and compress the spine.
Myself well, I have first hand knowledge. I started doing power lifts at around 17 and I have shrunk by a whole inch... seriously.
Like jrshortall said... do calisthenics... pushups, situps, chinups... build a foundation of strength. Remember, every building or mountain must have a good foundation or else it collapses.
Once you have built the foundation... start going heavy and don't look back... be a MACHINE. I'd say go heavy at around age 18.

Calisthenics should be fine for now, but get some one to teach you properly. Before this I would see a professional, who is experienced and well versed, to help and give you the okay. You could contact a physician or athletic trainer, as long as they are experienced and educated well.

impresive
a 13 year-old that just started working out can do bench with 105lb!
i think your going on the right way but.... do 12-15 reps and don't go to failure ( yet, u have to give your muscles like 6 months to edjust to weight lifting....).
good job!
do 2 excersices for each muscle 2 sets each and some cardio too...
good luck!
