    GNC Product: Xtreme Pro Mass (Any Thoughts?)

    GNC guys really hyped this up, but I cannot find any reviews online. Any opinions about it here?

    I was debating getting that or CytoSport's CytoGainer (very similar but I highly prefer CS's flavors like banana creme).

    I'm looking for a meal replacement/gainer to bulk up.

    I'm 5'5" ecto, 130lbs (up from 120lbs), 2700-2900 Calorie target, and 14%BF.

    edit: Did not mean it's GNC brand, but merely available at GNC.

    GNC is awful

    Almost everything they have at GNC is overpriced. Stay away from GNC and try your local nutrition store. You will almost always find a better price and a friendly person who actually knows what they are talking about.

    Raze,

    If you are interested in any of the weight gainer or mass type products, you need (and I mean NEED) to read the ingredient list. Some mass type products are nothing more then sugar with some protein thrown in (I'm dead serious here).

    Here are 2 quick things to check for;

    1. Ingredients are listed from greatest percentage to lease percentage. Check what the #1 ingredient is. If it's sugar, corn syrup or maltodextron, pass on it

    2. Check the total number of sugar grams per serving.

    Best of luck and be careful. The wrong mass product will put on pudge like you wouldn't believe.

    peace,
    Cherokee
