Critique my posing on video...
Hey yall... I don't know how, but I found a video from my last show on youtube.. I am far right (2nd to last)... It's a short clip of front relaxed, but was wondering how it looked and if there is anything I need to do to make it better?
I personally find that I looked like I was holding myself tighter than most, but maybe not as relaxed looking? Not sure, opinions can vary on this...
Here is the clip---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4tcRWNm1SA

How can I change that? How can I make myself look more comfortable?

Probably by being comfortable, were you uncomfortable up there? Was this your first show?? Just be confident and tell yourself your the biggest, leanest one up there even if your not. If this was your first show you were probably a bit nervous, it'll wear off with experience.

Actually this was my 5th show, and truthfully, I totally felt confident on stage.. I smiled and had at times, an expressionless face to "show" how effortless I was making it look AND that it just isn't fair that I make it so obvious who the winner is...

Hey man looking good up there honestly. Ive been looking at bob chics posing vids and one of the points he makes about the relaxed pose is that alot of people tend to spread there arms to far out away from the waist which in turn makes them look stiff and uncomfortable on top of making there arms look smaller then they are. He says its important to keep your arms only thumbs length away from your body. ckeck it out, its helping me alot.

Well are they supposed to look relaxed? How do you make them look relaxed when flexing? And they were thumb distance away.. I've seen those posing vids tons of times... If my arms are extended, they wash out... I had them bent slightly, and thumb distance away...
So what exactly is the problem?

The 4th guy in... from the left side looks the best/most relaxed while standing in the front "relaxed."

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong guy. Are you the guy when I watch the vid all the way to the right and one in? If so, the right arm is higher than the left and the hands are not thumb distance from what I can tell.
Have you ever hired a posing coach? That's what I plan on doing to help me along.

How can you guys tell what he looks like from that video? The lighting and low video quality completely wash out almost everyone. The only thing I could see is the pose but no detail.

That guy got 3rd.. He was best poser IMO.. In fact, I already have copied lots of his posing transitions and moves.
