Hi guys.
Complete newbie here, just wanted to ask you guys with the wealth of experience just a few simple questions, sorry if these have been asked before.
i am a 20 years old male and wish to begin basic body building. I am going for a career in the police force and my main aim is to bulk up.
I must say i have no intention of looking like LL cool J or any thing of the sort, i just want to simply gain weight and muscle and keep agile, the problem areas for me are my forearms and biceps as i have very skinny arms (like twigs).
Does someone reccommend me taking some kind of cretaine or something ? how often should i go to the gym and what exercise pattern should i follow.
Please i am a complete newbie to this (we all were at some stage) so i have limited knowlege of the jargon used so the simplier the answer the better.
thanks in advance for any feedback, or just pointing me in the right direction

LL cool J is not that big buddy, I looked like that before I even started BBing!
1. Seriously, I wouldn't reccommend creatine when you first start training, save it for when your gains come to a halt.
2. Do heavy, compound movements (squats, deadlifts, bench)
3. Eat loads of protein and calories
4. Read all the stickies at the top of the forum page
5. NOW GET IN THE GYM AND BUST YOUR ASS!!!!!I am a troll. Feel free to feed me.

If the bis and forearms are really weak, isolate them aswell. Here are some exercises (go to BB.coms exercise page for more!)
1. Bicep reverse barbell curl (squeeze at the top)
2. Hammer curl
3. Concentration curl
4. Behind the back wrist curls. With these, squeeze the forearms at the top.
5. Reverse wrist curls over knees or end of bench
6. Buy a hand gripper. Very useful for forearm mass building!I am a troll. Feel free to feed me.
