Home Made Power Rack/Power Cage/Squat Rack
Hi.
My dad's friend is an engineer, and has offered to build me a power rack or something similar if I give him the dimensions and an idea of the materials needed.
I searched the internet, but there doesn't appear to be much out there, so naturally, I decided to come here to see if any of you great people could help me out!!!
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I'm actually American.

But yeah, just check out some name brand racks like Powertec or Body Solid and see what the dimensions are.

Click on "specs". I'm sure someone else here knows what type of steel it is and all that.

More material info.

Help me
Think thats the first time Ive seen someone try and sell a wooden rack on ebay.
Not sure its the deal he wishes it were....
3 dicks sporting goods specials, would leave you with 900lbs of olympic plate weight, three 7' bars, ebay (steel) rack, out of pocket = $5-600 for new product
It does look like he did a good job building the rack, even if it is wood.

The guys out of his mind, probably from spending too much time in his "man cave" . That crap needs to be cut up for firewood, and the bars and weights donated to the local kids.

Hehehe, 500$ for 14 pieces of wood, a couple of standard plates and some rusted bars.
I bet I could break this rack with a roundhouse kick
