Thoughts ? Just came across this somewhat randomly..."another way to fool the body is to give it a stable form of Vitamin B5 in very large quantities, and since the B5 is the precursor to acetyl Coenzyme A, it leads to more pregnenolone, which ultimately leads to higher Testosterone."

Yes interesting, that seems to be contradictory to studies that show megadosing B5(Pantothenic Acid) helps with acne. If it causes a rise in test levels, that interesting that it helps acne as well.

Megadosing...Mmmmm :)
Well, where are the usual brilliant minds when you need them.... Get in here.
The fact that it clears up acne and raises test levels is interesting to me also.Signature Starts Here:

I got this info from a few Google searches (so I am not an expert in this!):
Apparently, B-5 is used in the manufacturing of sex hormones.
If there is enough of it in the body, it works on acne by helping with the metabolism of fats (by producing coenzyme-A). Doing so keeps sebum (oil) from being deposited in the pores. NOTE: If there isn't enough B-5 in the body, coenzyme-A production will go to the back burner and the B-5 will mostly be used to produce sex hormones. Open pores have reportedly been closed by supplementing with it.
I'm pretty sure the testosterone raising effects only works those deficient in B-5. It does seem to be a fairly common deficiency, though, and B-5 is rather cheap. Maybe it should be given a shot.
It is important to remember to take B-5 supplements, and not B complex. The doses of B-5 found in B complex aren't nearly high enough to promote such
B-5 is water-soluble, so there is no real threat of toxicity at megadoses.
Maybe those who take steroids and/or prohormones will see it as a help in post-cycle? Anyone with more info than me could give that the thumbs-up??I'm a lover AND a fighter.

The dosage most commonly used to treat acne is 5 g daily. However I still think it's best to take the whole B-Complex as the B-vitamins tend to work synergistically- 100mgs of B-complex a few times per day (not for an extended period of time though).

Where can you get the B5 alone, so far i only saw the b complex as the only way to get more b5.
Pain is my game! (I now recall this statement, as I'm fed up with pain)
Never satisfied !
