There are tons of resources available on bb.com if you're looking for a workout routine. Also, when I first started, I used the rep scheme from the Body for Life program, and found that extremely helpful:

You'll get the best results from following a program that works well for you. Depending on the exercise, I normally do about 3-4 sets, starting with 12 reps and working to lower reps, and doing as much weight as I can without compromising correct form. I try to rest for about 30-60 seconds between each set but this varies depending on my goals for the workout.
