HIIT and Weightlifting on same day?

Should I do HIIT Cardio and lift weight on the same day? Im asking because Im switching up from a 3 day a week, bulking program, to a 5 day lifting, cutting program.... any advice would be appreciated.

I believe the general consensus on these boards is if you're doing HIIT properly you should be essentially kicking your own ass.. so you should do it on non-weight lifting days.

i do it after my workouts.. i noticed a difference based upon the intensity of my workout.. when i workout with a partner and lifting (unfortunately) goes long and thus less intense, HIIT is not so bad.. when i lift alone, fast, and at a higher intensity, HIIT is nauseatingly difficult
