Post Workout Tracker/Journal - Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet

I thought I would share the spreadsheet that I put together to track my workouts, you will find it attached to this thread.

On the first tab of the workbook you will a set of instructions on how to use it.

I would love to hear some feedback, comments, suggestions, etc. on how I can improve it.

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

Regarding the section, I wasn't really sure what the best section for this would be. Anyone else think I should also post it in the exercises section?

This is great but I'm wondering if there is anyway to customize the exercises. The only problem is that I do several exercises not listed here. Any help?

Thank you VERY much for this tracker. I modified it quite a bit for my needs, but the baseline you provided was VERY helpful.

    Thanks again!

Go to the exercise Tab and add in the exercises you want. Also on the How To page it tells you how to add customer exercises.

    This is a great spreadsheet!

This is great, however, there is a formula error that makes the actual data incorrect. In the X,Y,Z columns you multiply X (Total Reps) by Y (the total sum of the weights lifted) to get your total weight combined lifted. The problem is, if you do 50 reps of 10 pound flys, and 2 reps of 100 pound chest press, the total would then be 5,720 lbs, according to your spreadsheet. The reality is, it is 500 lbs. To fix it, you can change the total in column Z to =SUM(X5:Y5,F5,J5,N5,R5,V5) for example, then drag that to the other cells so they are the same.

    Suggestions

I noticed that it has been a few year since the last person has posted so I am not sure whether this helps or not. This excel document is great despite how long it has been. I agree with all of the previous people who have posted. It is easy to use and manipulate when changing or adding any information that is needed.

If there was any thing that I could suggest it would be to add a few more Sets into the document. Some of my clients, myself included, are performing sets of 6 or 8. It would just add to the already great document.

    Thanks,

    Dutch
