SOY is just as good of a protein as whey right, or at least it would be just as good to have soy and whey than just to have whey right? I did a little bit of a search but came up with nothing.
I've read that it's just is good, but is it in reality?

Many will tell you that soy is an inferior protein source or even that taking it will raise estrogen levels. Neither is correct. In actuality, soy rates after whey and casein in superiority, and it even beats out egg white protein, believe it or not. Flex mag (I believe) had a nice article on this a few months back. Try checking out flex's site (flex.com, I think) to see if they have it archived.
To answer your question, soy is perfectly fine to use daily, in fact, it has the highest arginine levels of any protein (great for NO production). Combining proteins is really the best way to go, however, so having some protein from soy, some from whey, some from casein, some from egg, and LOTS from food is best. Of course, not everyone can afford 4 types of proteins but I think you get my point.
Don't let anyone tell you that soy will make you grow breasts or any such nonsense. I'm not telling you to go out and consume 400g of soy proetin a day, but having 25-50g a day, in addition to other sources, is highly recommended. Vegetarians derive virtually all of their protein from soy, although I still say that NOTHING builds muscle like BEEF lol.
Soy also gets a bum rap due to the fact that it is used often by women, because it plays a role in hormonal balance, but many men consume it as well and it even appears in many popular RTDs and protein bars and powders.
It's also not very popular because it doesn't taste as good as whey, but, IMO, tastes better than egg protein powder.
If you are not a vegetarian and you usually use whey, go ahead and use soy now and again, you'll notice zero difference. Your heart, however, will thank you due to its "heart-healthy" properties. It also has cancer-fighting properties as well, although both of these benefits are only present when 25g or more of soy are consumed daily.
I am not pro-soy whatsoever, I prefer whey along with my real food but I just want you to make an educated decision and not have everyone claim that soy it garbage cuz it's not.

I'll probably give it a try, i've read the article and it made a compelling argument to use soy, also it's cheaper 45$ for 6lbs compared to 43$ for 5lb whey
i was thinking about puting a big order 5lb natural whey, 4 lb casein and 2-2lb soys.
I do aim to get most of my protein from whole foods however, I eat one package of meijer chicken breasts which is about 2 lbs and have some beef-about 2or3 lbs between mon and thursday fridays thru sundays my diet is still pretty clean, just a little less food.

Use Soy, it's a wise move. I read the flex article and did a little research myself.
SOY does not cause the production of estrogen. Our natural testerone levels are high enough to suppress the molecular structure of soy atoms. Women gain estrogen because they have less test. to break down the bonds between the molecules.
In other words, an avoid science terminology...there is nothign wrong with Soy. It is a complete plant protein (THE ONLY ONE)...and raises no estrogen. Moreover, it often has no fat, minimal carbs, and possesses the highest amount of L-Arginine (over whey, casein, egg). Furthermore, Soy protein digests the fastest and makes for the perfect POWO shake.
I recommend 1 scoop of Soy, 1 scoop of Whey, and add your own Glutamine and Creatine to make the ultimate POWO shake.
Also, since our bodies can absorb upwards of 100g of carbs POWO....Get unflavored ingredients and mix it with gatorade RAIN...Seriously...its amazing. no flavor from the Soy, Why, Glutamine, or Creatine...and just your favorite flavor of Gatorade.

The phytoestrogens are broken down faster then the protein is absorbed...they are used as transport molecules rather then hormonal indicators. Moreover, the phyto-estrogen strain is so minute that EVEN if our test levels were at zero, we'd need thousands of grams to raise our estrogen.
Last time i checked, scientific research can be a word, look into the studies yourself...don't trust a magazine, don't trust me. LEARN FOR YOURSELF.
To many people depend on secondary sources for information...search out a primary source and develop an opinion based upon that. Intelligence is earned.
For the record, i read the article and searched up phytoestrogens in Soy and cross referenced to their impact on test levels in males. They study FLEX did checked out with the things i've read in medical journals.
However, you can choose to keep Soy out of your diet, it doesn't bother me. I started using it with my normal supplement/diet/workout regimen and i've actually gained more weight then i usually do. 4 lbs to be exact, and i've only been using soy protein a month.
