    Personal Trainer Certification

Hey, don't know if this is the correct forum, but if its not, just move it please!

I'd really like to work as a trainer during college, and being that I live in a beach town in Florida, there are TONS of gyms, so I have options.

But I guess big muscles don't cut it for some legal reasons? :P So, my question is, what ceritfication do you need? Do you have to go to college? Are the courses and certification classes reasonable in size? If so, what are the agencies, and where are they located.

If it helps, I live in Pensacola Florida, and my zip code is 32561 (incase there some database of certification locations.)

    Please help me out! Thanks!

    P.S. - I Found this

Is this a creditable certification? I would guess not, but let me know!

I think pretty much you have to pass a PT test. How to take the test, apply for a job etc. I'm not to sure on.
