    Whey after swimming or after lifting?

    I workout for about an hr-hr and a half then i have around a 15 min break then I swim for either 45min-90min. When should I take my scoop of whey, after lifting or after swimming, or a scoop after each?

    I would Take a small pwo shake right after lifting, wait 30 min and then swim. Something along hte lines of Torrent would be great for this because of it's fast absorption period. Adding a BCAA product like Xtend or Core ABC would also benefit you. After swimming I would take another protein + carb PWO to replace glycogen stores.

    Depends on how much protein you need. If you only have a 15 minute break you could probably wait and take it after you swim, since you're still working out. I don't know if I'd take ANYTHING before going swimming, but I don't swim that often and it's probably just because I wouldn't be used to it.

    You could always do both. Your bodies going to be depleted after both as it is.

    all i take is whey, multi, and fish oils, so all that stuff listed above i dont have, and dont plan on getting, so my only option is whey ON

    I would take some hydrolysed whey just after lifting with some dextrose. after an hour and a half of lifting you'd have depleted at least 50% of your glucose stocks, so I would take like 20 g of hydrolyzed whey with 15g of dextrose
