How to Develop the best IFBB Legs on Stage..
Front squats are the best size developer for my total leg development, I went as heavy as 400 pounds for 8x10 reps..I used a board to concentrate on full frontal quad development.. The key is to drop your ass to the ground while having you heels on a 2x4 keeping weight directly on the front quad.. This exercise will also keep you from getting that so Called Squatters ASS.

Thanks for posting Eddie. I have just started fronts recently and I'm already starting to enjoy them a lot.
Just would like to hear you expand a bit on the board though to emphasise the quadricep development. Also, do you think it is necessary to go ATG on front squats?

Same principle as o-lifters using heeled shoes. Heels up tilts the pelvis/spine and allows for a more upright posture, which in turn uses more quad and less glute/ham.

sure, but not everyone has the flexibility of an o-lifter. too many kids (and adults) are going ATG when their body mechanics arent ready for it yet.

Yes, I use a 2x4. Like to rep, i.e. 1x10 125, 1x20 225, 1x 8-10 315, 1x20 225. this will blast you frontal quad. And Yes, I go all the way down. I do front squats after leg Press or Squats. Eevery Other workout I alternate front squats with Hack Squats. 4 more info go to IFBB Pro BB Forum. I'm listed under IFBB Eddie Robinson RAW.
