A photographer has offered me a shoot on the 14th and I wanted someone to help me look my best in 5 days.. I know there's not much I can do to change my body in 5 days but I thought someone could help me with diet and stuff. I'm just not sure which section to post this? thanks

My advice (what i've read from time to time) is that you should eat low sodium, Low to No carbs. The catch is that you must consume water, more during the first 4 days, and a lot less during the last day.
hope this helps... lets see if anyone can back me up on this200lbs. . . . . . . . . . . . I'll rep back 800+ :)

wrong
Drink 2 gallons of water a day if you want to drop water. Drinking less water is going to make your body go into survival mode and conserve all the water it has/gets.
I drank 2 gallons a day throught my contest prep, 8 weeks. it was major hell going to the bathroom 25 times a day (literally), but only 5 days should be a breeze. More water in, more water out. Drinking this much causes your body to push out all the water it's holding,
You could also drop your caloric intake low enough under maintenance and do some HIIT that you could lose 3-4 lbs. Unless you are extremely concerned with losing muscle, but you can only lose so much in 5 days anyway, so up to you

Go very low carb a couple of days before the shoot, then eat sugar right before hand.
Seriously.
Bodybuilders do this the day of competitions.

whats the shoot for? fitness/athletic type stuff or more do they want a more "normal" look?
if its fitness related, low sodium, low carb, and possibly a mild diuretic.
if its not fitness related just chill, you're good to go!THINK FOR YOURSELF, QUESTION AUTHORITY!

It's for 7 days... but I'm sure you can rig it for less and it will still work pretty well.

again, this type of procedure only works if you are lean enough, she is not going to be lean enough for carb depleting and carb loading. Some sodium manipulation may help with getting some water out of the subcutaneous layer, but drinking a bunch of water is going to do more than any of this other stuff at her stage
EDIT: DMBs, are you the one who told me jamie eason commented you back on myspace? I'd try sending her a myspace holler and see if she has any tips, she certainly does a lot of photoshootsLast edited by yzrider400f; 10-09-2007 at 11:27 AM.
