    Talking sodium bicarbonate? baking soda?

Sodium bicarbonate is the same thing as baking soda. Is it not? This appears to reduce painful lactic acids
In the body and joint pain which I get doing lunges. It seems like it would definately worth a try.

I was just reading your article about this topic. I was recently discussing this with my Paramedic instructor, but we also touch on the effects of calcium and it ability to create stronger muscle contractions. I purchased a bottle of Tums which is Calcium Bicarb, but really not sure of the differences between it and sodium. I ask a local Pharmacist but he was no help. Any thoughts about Calcium Bicarb? I have not yet tried the the TUMs btw.
