I have been drinking one gallon of water per day. But I want to up it to 2 gallons a day. But aside from water, I drink about 4 cups of Milk in shakes and an additional 6 cups of Water in shakes, so would that be too much?

There is no purpose in drinking that much water. You can get a lot of the water you need from your food, and you really don't need that much water. It will put your electrolyte and sodium balances out of whack, and there is no positive to it.
A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.
"Out of damp and gloomy days, out of solitude, out of loveless words directed at us, conclusions grow up in us like fungus: one morning they are there, we know not how, and they gaze upon us, morose and gray. Woe to the thinker who is not the gardener but only the soil of the plants that grow in him."

There is a such thing as too much water and it's called over hydration.

So would 1 gallon plus all the shakes be enough or not?
The best advice was to just drink as much as you need to match your current level of activity, not try to meet some high quota. I think 1 gallon a day (plus in shakes/food/etc.) is fine.
