    Professional Advice Needed

Ok, I used hair removal below the belt line and now a rash has appeared. I don't think they are ingrown hairs but could be. They are little pink bumps all over my pubic region and I need a quick fix before a contest. Are they ingrown hairs or a rash? Any advice on what to do or try is greatly appreciated!!
Lift hard or get the hell out of the gym. Us guys that wanna lift don't need y'all standin' in the road!!

I had the same thing the first time I shaved. You have to learn to go really slow and gently. Here is how to prevent them.

Soak your member for 1 minute with a hot towel. Let shaving cream sit in for 5 minutes. Then shave with the hair grain, not against it. Finally, put some talcum powder on it. (no after-shave, lol). I didn't get any bumps when I tried it this way.

....another trick is right after you shave, dry off and then roll on some antiperspirant on the area.

    Talking Gotten any play lately?

sounds like an std to me.......totally kidding. sorry for the unecessary lame humor.

personally, i don't shave anything with a razor (other than my face) unless it's absolutely necessary. if you're just trying to ensure that your jungle won't be poppin out of your suit, just use a beard and mustache trimmer.

when using a razor for anything, i try to be gentle. you're trying to shave the stuff, not pull it out. i always apply an astringent (it burns, but it's worth it) to the area and then a oil-free moisturizer to make sure i don't get those std-lookin bumps. the talcum powder may not be a bad idea either..........just use some common sense bro. if you know any girls that are down for this type of question, definitely consult them re good skin products. after all, they shave all the time. best of luck man!!
    I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
    I focus on the pain
    The only thing that's real
    The needle tears a hole
    The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
    But I remember everything

Even in a sport where your objective is to gain musclular size and balance through the movement and resistance of variable weights in countless different motions..........

    KNOWLEDGE IS THE ULTIMATE POWER.

I'm a girl & when I shave certain delicate areas I immediately apply cortisone cream when I get out of the shower. This stops the rash from developing in the first place. If it's already there, as is unfortunately the problem for you, it will help it to go away pretty quickly. You might want to pop a couple of Advil also since you already have the rash. It helps with inflammation.
