Preworkout: Caffeine + Creatine = ??

Alot of pre workout supplements contain caffeine in various forms, and alot of people, it would seem, like to take caffeine to provide energy for their workouts.

Yet as far as I understand, caffeine seriously inhibits creatine absorption if taken simultaneously. So why do so many pre workout supplements contain both creatine and caffeine? How do people time it if they want to take both caffeine and creatine pre-workout?

At the moment I take creatine pre-workout and post workout and avoid caffeine.

Bump to this.. I've always wondered what the deal is with creatine and caffeine when consumed in the same time frame.

In many of the studies on the effectiveness of creatine monohydrate, the method of consumption was through coffee.

I don't take Creatine (starting soon) but I do drink a cup or 2 of coffee about 1 hour before I work out. It actually gives you a ton of energy and (I personally believe) more strength on your lifts.
