    cardio when sore?

I was just wondering if it is ok to do cardio when your legs are sore from weight training. Will that hinder the repair process?

If you are so sore, that you can hardly get of bed, I'd take a day off to rest and recuperate. Otherwise if its just light soreness and fatigue, opt for a low intensity session like walking on a treadmill or riding the staionary bike .
Listen to your body and go by how you feel.

Normally I stick with my cardio if my legs are sore (like today) and just lower my incline. Since I only work legs once a week have plenty of time to recover. Instead of a 8% incline I drop back to 4 and go faster.
Everybody wants to know what I am on. What am I on? I'm on my bike ... six hours a day. What are you on?'

If your legs are sore, that's a sure physical sign that they are not recovered. If you want to build muscle, you must let the muscle rest so it can grow. Listen to your body, it won't steer you wrong.
