Question Pain in elbows

when i do tricep workouts i find that with heavier weights (i'm small so when i say heavier i mean like 55 lbs for skullcrushers) though my tris can handle it i'm feeling a lot of pain in my elbows i'm wondering if this is just because the muscle is adapting to heavier weight faster than the bone structure is and will eventually improve or if something else is going on

Skull crushers can really irritate the tendons of the elbows of you lock your elbows in place and/or bounce out of the bottom of the movement. allow some movement (lateral) of the elbows and be careful not to bounce.

and sometimes for some people they just irritate the **** out of the tendon no matter what. I am one of those guys, I can only do them once a month or so because they hurt the **** out of my elbows

Yes...I've always found weighted dips and close-grip bench presses much easier on my elbows than skullcrushers.

Dead on...the best tricep movement you can do for mass. Also less dangerous than skullcrushers and they do not require a spot when you get up to heavier weight.
