    Why do I feel dizzy?

The past few days, I've been feeling a little dizzy and light headed when I work out. When I first start my exercise, it's fine, but than near the end of my workout period, I feel dizzy and physically tiredwhen I'm about to reach failure on my exercises. I'm guessing it could be my diet.
So far, I have some cereal during breakfest. Some noodles and porkchops at lunch w/ a Mega Milk shake (same as muscle milk). And than about 2 or 3 hours later I go work out.

    Two possibilities....

    1. what are you eating before you lift? you should have a meal consisting of complex carbs and lean protein(ex; chicken and brown rice) about 1 hour before you lift. this will keep your blood sugar steady during your workout and provide you with energy.

    2. maybe you are overtraining? how long do your workouts last? try to keep them to around 60mins max.

I would agree with Ripstone.... what is your pre workout nutrition... eat something good... a cup of yogurt with some oats mixed in whatever... also try downing some honey... gives me a natural boost of energy.... And you could be overtraining, but that word is throw around a lot so maybe not... just try some different things out and see what happens.

I hope your drinking enough water...number one cause for people passing out in the weight room is dehydration
    November----6'1 220 20.4%
    January------6'1 189 n/a
    Present------6'1 196 n/a
    Goals:
    6-22-05-----205 14%
    7-20-05-----210 12%
    August25----6'1 215 10%
Then by Wrestling I will do a serious cut to get me down to 210 and around 7-8%
