What does everyone do for work?
I'm starting this because of the "women are smarter" thread.
It seems to me that most men work in jobs that are more physically demanding then mentally demanding. At least most (but not all) of the ones in my life do.
I'd like to hear from girls and guys.

This is not a competition nickrut.
I'm actually self employed. I own a business, it can be pretty mentally demanding at times.

Audio Engineer. Not quite a real engineer because it's just recording music. But Tom Dowd recorded music for a living and he was on the original 12 man team to design the first Atomic Weapon. Yeah!!

Currently I'm doing Human Resources. Previously I was in Insurance. I'll probably end up in one of these careers. I'm usually one of the few males in these jobs...

I'm a part time package handler for UPS. I'm there because they are one of the few jobs that offer awesome benfits. It's also a very secure job as it's apart of a very powerful union.

Sales. I do the selling, marketing, financial, basically everything. I also do all the worrying
Lots of freedom with this job though. I started it from nothing and taught myself everything a long the way.

Hospital janitor, like I said in the other thread...
Yeah it's a physical job, 0% brain power required. It's sorta boring but it's just a part time job while studying full time.

Jenflower, your logical fallacies never cease to amaze me. Using a sample size of posters on bb.com and the men in your life to conclude that most men work in physically demanding rather than mentally demanding careers is scary to say the least.

I work at a software development company as a network admin. And 100% of this work is mental, 90% of our workforce is male.
Figure it out.

Oh stop it and lighten up for gods sake! Laugh a little, stop taking life so seriously, it's getting on my nerves.
I see eventhough you think this thread is ridiculous, that didn't stop you from bragging about your acomplishments. It's actually kind of pathetic...

More men than women work in physically demanding fields... but I don't think more men work in physically demanding fields than in mentally demanding ones.
Our country is run primarily by men.

Microcomputer Application Specialist. I tell people what to do in my dept. I'm up for a promotion and my new title will be Computer User Services Specialist I. More pay and I'll still sit in my office posting on bb.com all day. Plus I work at a University where hot women roam the campus.
