    Bagels in the morning bad for you?

    I usually eat a bagel every morning before school WITH cream cheese? Is this bad? What about without cream cheese?

    or peanutbutter...

    imo, bagels are good for a bulk... the ones i eat are low in salt and sugar and have like 250 calories and like 8g of protein... add some peanutbutter ... makes a goo little snack...

    depends what you're doing, no offense implied but from your stats it looks like you're bulking. ideally, you would want to have your bagel later on. the reason for this is because your body has virtually just awoken from a state of fasting so you need some fast simple carbs right when you wake up. throw some simple carbs in your morning meal alongside you'll be set carbohydrate-wise. sidenote: and don't forget your protein
