    Increasing Wrist/Foreman Strength

I've been lifting for a short time...and I can definitely tell that my wrists are very weak, often wanting to give out way before my arms ect...Whats the best way to increase wrist/forearm strength and/or stabilize your wrist so you don't hurt it?

(I posted this before I think, but, when is earched for it, said my username was invalid).

    Thanks in advance.

I have pretty weak wrists too, which is why I usually do seperate forearm exercises in my routine. Now my wrists can handle it though but before I'd use wrist tapes, or simply just tape my wrists to keep them firm so they can't wiggle and give out under pressure.

But yeah, I'd do reverse Ez curl bar curls with just some seated wrist dumbell curls. Don't go too heavy on the weight though.

Im not sure if this is the best way, but wrist curls strengthen the forearm, as do reverse barbell curls...

Wrist curls and reverse barbell curls will hit those flexor and extensor muscles quite well, but to hit the supinator, pronator teres and pronator quadratus, there is an exercise called "Thor's Hammer", where you would hold a dumbbell with weight only on one side... When you hold it, keep your elbow tucked by your side and your forearm parallel to the floor. Gripping it with your right hand would require the weight to be on the left hand side of the dumbbell, then you proceed to supinate and pronate back... It helps to hit those muscles extension and flexion cannot.

Don't use any straps and do dumbbell work where you can. Stuff like incline DB where you have to balance the weight in a vertical position will help you.
