What kind of underwear do you use when riding a bike or stationary bike?
I like riding the bikes, but my boxer briefs don't like it.
What is most comfortable?

I use boxer briefs as well. Maybe get something bigger in the front, with a waist that still fits you? I also wear some pretty large Adidas basketball shorts while biking. Nice breeze and plenty of room to move my legs.

I frequently bike 10-15 miles per day and byfar my favorite underwear on biking days is a pair of underarmour boxer briefs. They not only keep the junk in place but they do an amazing job of keeping you dry.

Ya, good old lance doesn't use any either. Just his padded biking shorts.
I was wondering about the chaffing so I asked a biking dude -
Said bikers spread shaving cream down there right before they ride to prevent chaffing.
I tried it, and it's great for not chafing. For the first mile or so it feels like I've got some sorta dookie in there but it goes away.

I ride in ONLY my underwear and shoes. It has to be one sexy sight.
I only put on underwear so I don't keep trying to "shift" the bike.

The Lance Look is obviously the best if you are doing hard core cycling. But,if you don't want to wear the regular biking shorts, you can always get a nylon short with biking short underneath combo
http://www.rei.com/category/4927689....HP_CYCLING_TOC
You shouldn't really wear underwear with the biking shorts, they have a chamois in them that absords sweat and helps hold you stuff in place.
In all my years of cycling, I've never heard of anyone using shaving cream to prevent chafing. Seems like it would break down very quickly, as that's what saving cream is kinda designed to do. There is special cream that you can use to prevent chafing should you find the chamois in the bike shorts causes it:

Lance uses a thick, non-gel shaving cream, not gilette or other foaming creams - but still, either works very well. I use both shaving cream and a product
called bodyglide whenever doing races over 3 hours (100km+ generally), or training rides over 4 hours (works flawlessly up to 180km, I find).
