Last few weeks, the DOMS (next-day pain after workout) effect hasn't happened for any muscles I work. Example, I work my chest on a tuesday with 3 sets of 6-8 reps using two different exercises, but the next day there is no pain.
The weight is heavy enough because I can only do 8 reps max of each exercise set.
However, because of no pain the next day, I feel like it was a waste. Are my muscles still taking effect even with no pain? Or am I not working hard enough?
Do I do more sets? Or what?
I take 15g of Glutamine a day in my PWO shake (includes protein powder and eggs and etc). Is this Glutamine amount repairing my muscles that fast, that there isn't no pain?

Yea Mate, your muscles are still getting the same workout. Most people lose the feeling of DOMs after awhile...
Soreness does not equal a good workout.

Just curious, what type of routine did you decide on doing, that you're only using 2 exercises for chest?
