Al was a perfect example of how age just doesn't matter, winning his medals in 4 consecutive Olympic games, and still competing well into his 50s...I saw him once during my Soph year at Kansas, and the guy was still HUGE well into his 50s.... __________________ Chicago White Sox. 2005 World Series Champs!! msly Registered User Join Date: Jun 2005 Posts: 87 Rep Power: 5	I was lucky to meet Al. I went to HS in Floral Park Long Island and his wife was a teacher there at the time. This was in the early 80's. He used to come by sometimes and talk to the kids. He was a very nice person and a inspiration. He will be missed. Michael
