It's been a while since I logged in. Amazing to see that this thread is still somewhat active.
"Ignore the ramblings of the ignorant, and step on or over their crumpled bodies as you make your way to the top of the mountain. Eat upon their flesh for fuel and through your determination and will, banish them to obscurity anda life of complacency and self righteousness that is the hell in which they live."

We would like to invite you to participate in a psychological research study called Male Body Talk Validation Project (IRB #STU00075112). This research is being conducted by researchers from the Psychology Department at Northwestern University.
Only men who frequently exercise are eligible for participation in this part of the study. The entire online survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. In appreciation for your participation in the study, you will receive a $5 Amazon.com gift card.
The goal of this research is to investigate how different groups of men talk about their bodies. If you agree to participate, you will be asked to respond to questions regarding how frequently you say certain statements. Additionally, you will be asked information regarding your exercise habits and basic demographic information.
Your participation is completely voluntary. If at any time during the survey you are uncomfortable or wish not to answer you are under no obligations to continue and may exit the survey by closing your web browser. Your responses will be kept completely anonymous.
We hope that your participation will contribute to our understanding of how men talk to others about their bodies and how these conversations may be measured reliably.
Any questions you may have about this study may be directed to the principle investigator, Dr. Renee Engeln at (847) 491-4973. If you have any questions related to your rights as a research participant, you may contact the Institutional Review Board (IRB) Office at Northwestern University by email at irb@northwestern.edu.
If you wish to participate, please e-mail malebodytalk@gmail.com to receive the online survey link.
Thank you for your participation!
