why are supplements so popular?
of all the forums this one seems to be the most active every time i come here....
aren't supplements a little like cheating?

as far as the original question, its simple. its americas attitude, unwilling to work, lazy a$$ looking for a miracle pill around each corner. dont get me wrong, once a sound diet and work out routine are in place, supps can fine tune and tweak, but guaranteed the bulk of the people posting "is cell tech the best thing ever" or "what is the best fat burner, i want to drop 10% body fat by next weekend for my wedding/reunion/enter occasion here" have no idea what those things are.

That's actually a ... really ... good question.
I was thinking about that the other day. This forum doubles or tiples the users viewing of other forums everytime i'm on the bb boards.
With good training and nutrition suppliments can deffinately give you a boost. Some people, however.. seem to be on that never-ending quest for the magic pill.
I have a small, steady stack of supps that I use regularly. CEE, Whey, Taurine, and a Multi-Vitamin. That's not too bad. I'm very active in my sport, so they do help me out a bit.
I guess I keep checking this forum because it's the best spot I've found to check out new suppliments that come out, and what people are saying about them. Even though I will never try 99.9% of them
