Will PhoenixBuff cry when Jay is announced 3rd place tonight?
PhoenixBuff, you best bring a box of tissues because Jay is lucky if he is in the top 3 tonight. I like Jay and how he represents bodybuilding....BUT, it wasn't his night and others like Victor and Dexter came in ripped!
Just remember that it's ok to cry in public and that there's always next year for Jay to come back.

PhoenixBuff, you make sure and keep a close eye on Jay for all of us tonight. I could see him getting depressed after his 3rd place finish and getting drunk out of his mind and wanting to jump off a building. Keep Jay close to you tonight PhoenixBuff and make sure someone sober drives him home.
K thnx.

I think Vic will come out on top. Vic is ahead of Jay just as much as Jay was ahead of Ronnie last year so I don't see why he couldn't be crowned.
I understand the whole its harder to dethrown the current Mr. O idea, but I think saying Jay will win this year is taking it too far.

We will see
There are only 2 guys that have a chance to knock Jay off.
Dexter looks incredible. He should win. And he probably won't. The other guy is Victor . His legs look good from the front and get owned X100 from every other angle by Cutler. His calves are a minor disaster.
The future Mr Olympia Dennis Wolf will not come into his first Olympia with no calves at all and contend (top 3) no matter how incredible the rest of his physique is. The stuff about his lower back is total crap. His back is outstanding. But, it ain't gonna happen. If Dexter takes it (which he richly deserves) I will cheer. But it's gonna be Jay again if he sheds the water he had yesterday.

Sounds like you already had a few.
If it's not Jay, I hope Dexter takes it down.

Its too bad Phoenixbuff isn't here to defend himself and reply. He is busy helping Jay as we speak
I am sure he would have something to say to the comments. Whether good or bad.

He would have his hands full defending Jay if he was around.
I really hope Dex takes it, he really deserves it. Whether its him or Vic, they both dominated, and definately came out looking the best. Dexter was always one of my favorites, but everyone used to always knock on him for bringing the same physique. He's added some mass, and still brought awsome conditioning, has a small waist, and looks awsome. I really hope he gets it this year.

I have to ask... why?
Idiotic thread title + idiotic comments = idiotic poster IMO.

LOL, it's all in good fun fellas. I respect all the athletes competing at the O and wanted to throw a "jab" at PhoenixBuff. I am sure he will throw plenty of "jabs" back at me. Don't take this entire thread seriously lol. However I do believe that Jay will come in 3rd place...that part is true. We shall see tonight though.

Joking about someone committing suicide isn't a "jab"
It's highly immature.
There's nobody more professional in bodybuilding than Jay, don't know why people think he will cry if he loses.
He isn't going to lose.

Ya sure busting his balls a little is ok but cutting them off and feeding them to him on a plate with a fork and knife is not cool pal.

a) You'll be wishing you hadn't made this thread in a few hours WHEN Jay wins. Politics or otherwise, it is a VERY rare occurance for the reigning Mr. O to lose.
b) Whats the point of this thread? Did you plan for it to be funny? Or was it an actual jab at PB?

Very true, but there are so many people on this site that will complain no matter who wins or loses. I might be one of them depending on the placements in a few hours lol.

Everything is good guys - I'll be back win, place or show. I'm very proud of him. He's very confident and looks much better than last night. It should be a fun, fun night. Enjoy the evening.....and don't think so much about bashing me in the head after the show - that can wait! This is best night for OUR sport, enjoy it.

I've always rooted for Jay, but the same way the judges played the gift of '01 on Jay, I think the judges will now play that gift on Victor. Whatever happens this year, I think Jay (like Haney in '91) will have to really think about retiring. If jay edges Victor tonight it's a gift, but next year, it'll be lunacy.

I'm sorry, but some of bodybuilding is politics, if it was the best man, it would be dexter, wolf or victor.
And i bet it will be Jay.
Depending on how everyone looks tonight though.

It's so easy to see the guys who haven't been following the sport very long. No offense, seriously, but, if you had been following it longer you'd know why that won't happen. I remember the first time Cutler came out of nowhere and beat Coleman... it must have been 2000 or 2001, and guess who got the nod? Coleman. And, that happens so often.
