Honestly, I think grown up is even worse!!!
As a mom of 3 here, you may want to rethink your decision to post these ladies. There's some really creepy people in this world. If I posted a pic of my 16 yr. old daughter, without her permission, she'd be furious.
I'm not getting a good vibe from this thread.
There are yahoo mom groups for this stuff.
Sorry not trying to ruffle feathers here, but I'm sure many agree.

actually, i totally agree with you. And i think a lot of other women would too...
to those above it'll probably be best to edit your posts and take down those photos. Especially on this forum...there's some wierdos out there.
try a yahoo group or another online community specifically for moms and has a private photo album.

Who said I didn't have permission? My son weighs 240 pounds and will kick anybody's ass that messes with his sister. My kids have their pictures posted all over the internet at their own discretion. They have their whole lives posted on Facebook and My Space. They have for years. I think your being paranoid to the extreme. Besides I have my picture here and everyone in Vancouver knows who my kids are anyway.
I do appreciate your concern but I think it's unfounded.
I'm going to remove the pictures of my adult kids because I just see this thread possibly escalating into hysterical reactions like happens on so many forums for various reasons but it's not because I think it was wrong to post them. For the young children I think there's a risk of kidnapping but I can't see a problem with grown children.

Interesting post to make and yes "Not Too Late" you should be scared. It sucks, but it's the world we live in.
I interview children 2-17 who are alleged victims of sexual abuse. Let me tell you what is going on in the world of pedophilia these days. These guys (and gals) are taking regular, neutral pictures of children they find off of the internet and photo shopping their pictures to give them genitalia, making them sado-masochistic or whatever they want them to look like. They are then swapping with their friends and sometimes making money off of them.
I'll tell you another thing about these social networking sites, too. I had a case where a child had neutral pics taken of her with some friends, family, etc. There was so much information taken from these photographs and her postings that a perpetrator knew exactly the best time to kidnap her from home. First, he befriended her by beginning a conversation based on all the information she had in her profile. Things like "yeah, I know your dad Bill" etc. So please be careful!
http://www.netsmartz.org/ Here are some excellent tips.
