Hey guys, wondering if anyones tried this exercise for abs before? I think i might have invented it! Anyway its called the standing ab crunch, like a normal crunch except you do it standing up. High reps + high speed for the burn. What do you guys reckon?

Not new.
Not safe.
Not efficient.
Not effective.

But I am sure they will look much better in 10 weeks when being around 19 probably.
It is all about the illusion."
I already do this exercise when I workout with my gf...

Do not feel failure if you trip and fall while moving towards your goal; a tumbling body is still in motion. Failure is finding comfort with the floor. So we keep moving.
Sometimes I may do a couple more, just depends on how I'm feelin...
I read in another thread that this particular exercise releases a lot of GH....WAY more than squats/deadlifts...
LMFAO, are you serious? man Im pretty drunk and that just made my night......IMO save that move for the ladies man, and most of us consider that particular move fun cardio, not GH releasing work.

So there isn't any use of this exercise? I felt a pretty good burn in the upper and lower abs and im pretty sure they were isolated because i couldnt feel it in the lower back..?

I saw this "standing ab crunch" before! It's nothing new. I can't stop laughing at all the comments before! If you think you invented this go to the video store and check out belly dancing 101. It's one of the most basic moves belly dancers do, although I've never seen a guy do it. Or if you don't want to watch a video, go to a local mediteranian restaurant on a Saturday night and watch for free! Nice post, it was amusing!
