I want to know what the main difference is when it comes to protein. I mean protein is protein right?

when it comes down to it, when your body needs the protein to rebuild, it doesnt care nor know where its coming from, it just wants it and uses what it can/needs. the only reason people dont drink protein shakes all day long is the cost issue, and well, can you imgine drinking 6-8 shakes a day?

The issue is, your not supplementing your fat or carb needs from most shakes. Unless you really know your body; and have planned and researched your needs and how you will work your diet, your asking to mess yourself up.
Not to mention there is no dietary fiber in most protein drinks, and the mineral and vitamin components are pretty poor for using as your only source of nutrients.
