Coulaid's Quest For 6% Body Fat!

I have a goal to reach 6% body fat. Here are the facts:

History: Thanksgiving 2003 I was 275 and had a good deal of body fat. I said then I wanted to get skinnier. I went on a real high protein diet and a low fat and moderate carb diet. Now i weigh in at 190 around 14% body fat.

Steps I am taking: I have gotten fellow board memeber Sixpack's help. He made up a diet and workout for me. I am doing cardio and lifting. Six has asked me not to state to much since he's running a business and i will comply.

How I'll Update: I will try to update once a day at night. I will weigh in and take my body fat measurements on Sunday.

good luck bro, i too am losing mad weight. i`ve lost more than 130lbs so far and i`m going to get down to 235. i don`t know my bodyfat as i don`t have calipers or anything but. i will be having a lot less

Smile Update 1

Ok Sorry for the delay my typical day is this:

Up at 4:30 and home around 8:30. I go to bed around 9:30 so i think weekends are the best time for my updates.


How am i feeling: I have been feeling great. My energy levels are pretty high for my type of days. I work on the manufacting floor of a company so i tend to be on my feet for a while.

Visual Results: Since i will only weigh in on sundays and take bf every onther sunday, i feel tighter but that could be do to just normal working out just a plabaco.

Workouts: My cardio has been real good. My endurance feel good. Alot better then when i was doing a lower carb diet. My weight training has been real good. I am pretty intense when i get to the gym. Alot of BS goes on during work so it a good time to release all of my anger there. Plus some ppl from work workout there (i workout by myself I hate the bs that goes on) so they can get a little scared by me which is good. That means they tend no to always ask me to solve there problems.

Diet: Diet has been right on this week. Never really hungry execpt at the times of my meals and when i get home after a workout. Other then that i have been statisfied.

Misc: Just like to thank my family for being supportive and helping me prepare and shop for my meals. And Sixpack for making me a kick @$$ diet and workout!

Update 5/22/05

My weight today was at 180. Both Six and I belive my scale was off. I will weigh myself at the gym. It could have been the scale i used at school too.


Weight: 180??? Update later.
BF: 13.6

Visual: I noticed i have become more vascular. Noticably in the calfs.

Workouts: These have been some of the most intense workouts. I think when i was on a low carb diet that made me real tierd at the gym. I also like the set up of my workouts there awsome (least for me)! My cardio i feel has gotten better. I jog on a 4 mile path and i pace about an 8min mile and my time is getting shorter and shorter. just by a few secs but we will see if it continues.

Diet: Right On. No problems never really hungry still. Which is good.

Thanks.

Good job so far. I have always been big 2. What sometimes really piss's me off is that people are like its not gonna kill u when u turn down a dessert or even pasta etc. I found when i go out bring a book bag and bring some MRP's so you can always have a quick good meal while out. Although many ppl may r like WTF u know your having a good meal for you. And I found when i turn down food i feel better and more confident in what i am doing.

If you get stuck you may what to give six's servace a try. So far i am really happy with it.

Weight Update

My weight at the gym was pretty much the same so i am gonna assume the really old scale at school is off a little. Will ask my friend if he has had the same problem.

Arrow Update 5/26/2005

Status: Cardio Only.

Feelings: My 4:30 am cardio has beed doing really well. I think after 2 weeks my body is getting adjusted to the earlier mournings and longer nights. Once again I am consistantly satisfied throughout the day. Although when I come home from the gym I am pretty hungy but that is to be expected.

Visual Results: Not much but when I take my mourning leak i think i look alot leaner then i did before!!

Workouts: Like i said my cardio has been doing well. My workouts have been pretty intesnse. My legs i think are starting to get rid of the fat.

Diet: Right on no mistakes.

Misc: Pics up this sunday.

Update 5\28\05

Fridays Training: It was intense. Maybe it was because of getting off early from work for the holiday but wow!!! I was pumped. Little or no DOMS today. Feel real good and slept well.

Saterday: Today is gonna be a hard day for me. I have training in about 1\2 hour and I got asked to go to a soccor game England vs USA. The only problem is that i may wind up having to pack up a meal. Not a problem. But I am wondering if i should call soligers feild and ask if they allow ppl to bring book bags so i can slip in a shaker and protein. Who know but i think if i put a camera and some other things approate for a game it wont be a problem.

Will update later with saterdays training and an update to the game. Feeling real good about everything here.

Update tommorrow will include pics, weight and bf. All will be taken first thing in the mourning.

5/28/05 #2

I was able to get my meal into the game with out a problem although alot of people looked at me mixing a protein shake and eating broccoli in my seat but i dont mind!

Today's Workout: Real good. I got up to 430lbs on leg press. And got a pretty good pump in my legs and calfs. I know the pump doesnt mean much but it still felt good. My legs feel some what sore but thats to be expected.

Diet: Its been right on. Feeling pretty good all the time. I only really get hungry around my meal times. Basicly around 15-30mins before a meal. This is really nice.

Visual Results: Getting a few complements on how people think i have become more muscluar. Which means i am not loosing that much muscle which is good. The real results will come tommorrow.

Next Update: 5\29 AM will post measurements, weight, bf and pics.

Bf:12% I think thats a little low personally. I never have like the calipers but you can see for yourself.

Exclamation BF% Update

I retested myself i got the higest i got was 13%bf. I know i have some loose skin comming all the way down from 275lbs. So that could play a part in the visual aspect. I talked to Sixpack and he staide i am anywhere from 12-15%.
I always thought i was 14-15% but i always posted what the calipers said.

EDIT: When i gained all of the weight I got strech marks on my tummy, arms and some chest. Just thought i would throw it in.

Exclamation Update 5/30/2005

Yesterdays workout: It was good. I had a pretty good pump in my arms thoughout the workout. I was really feeling it good. I like weekend workouts cause at my gym there is a whole lot of less bs going on. Since i have a pretty tight schedule i can't stand it. This is the only gym not over 45mins to get to.

Today: Status: Cardio Only
Visual Results: None really

Diet: This week i am going to subsistute my brown rice for barley. Just for a little change. But its still right on no mistakes

Run: It was good my legs were feeling really good thoughout the four miles. It was pretty warm out considering i was wearing long sleves and pants. So i sweated more then normal but it reall felt good.

Training: None. No Doms

Personal Note: My aunt last night at dinner was telling me how i am to hard on myself when it comes to eating. This is comming from a woman who is easily over 200lbs and around 5'6. I love her but she kept getting shot down and rather heated about it. I simply said that I have a goal and i will do everything i have to to reach it. She said but dont you want cake i said how will it help me. Her responce "It makes you feel better" I said it makes you feel better, but to me feeling better comes from beeting my 4mile time from the day before, squating more then i did the last time not from food. She shut up.

Cool AM Cardio For 5/31/05

Just wanted to say that i had a hard time sleeping last night so my AM cardio was little slower pace then normal. GO! helped some but it didnt feel like enough. Gonna order AMP and NueroStim+C in about a week to see how they work.

Update 6/2/2005

Workouts: As stated before I did not sleep well monday night to tuesday mourning. I felt in in my run and workouts. My wendsday workout was fine little slower then normal but all weights where they should be. I plan on being ASLEEP by 9pm tonight so that should help.

Diet: Right On not a problem. For my lunch i switched from Rice to Barley. Nice change. I like barley alittle more due to it fills me up.

Feeling: I am feeling okay. I didnt realize how much i value sleep these days. That one bad night of sleep lasted with me for a good while. But i feel w\ a good night to night ill be set.

Visual: I dont really see anything diffrent but i do feel pretty lean. I will weigh and take bf sunday mourning. I dont know if ill get up any new pics. I will try.

FYI: My girl friend is comming in. Now this doesn't mean anything except i will eat out saterday night. I will order a peice of chicken w\ a veggie. she knows how i am. We are going down town so we are gonna picnic so i can bring my own food. She is really supportive of me. So she is used to shakes etc.

Suprisignly i am ENJOYING doing all of this work. So keeping it up is not a probelm. If you would like me to weigh in tomorrow i can but i would prefer to go week by week. Cardio is good. I feel alot better at work becasue of it. I am gonna try out the Xtend, NueroStim, and AMP. I will email you with more details.

Exclamation Update 6/5/2005

Weight: 176
BF: 12.6%

Well i still think my body fat is higher then 12.6%. But I promise you thats what the calipers said. Everything is going well this weekend. I have done alot of walking and being away from home i have had to bring most of my meals to go. but its all good.

Visual: I feel leaner as i think anyone does when there dieting and working out petty hard. I feel like my tummy is flatter. but if u look at the pics i still have a little gut. I have noticed more deifintiton everywhere even when not flexed and i feel my back has gotten wider w\ the less bf covering it up.

Workouts: They Friday and saterdays were really good. Today i am going as soon as i get done posting this message so i will see how a workout is first thing in the AM.

Cardio: Cardio feels good when i get real good sleep, but for some reason if i dont it seems alot harder. Thats normal for everything though. It just happened to me for the first time this week.

Diet: Right On No mistakes. Even w\ gf she likes how i am dedicted to something.

Feelings: Good. Already told six i plan to renew his servace. Begining week four out of six. so i am half way done here are the results on w\ weight and bf

Begining LBS: 186( the scale issue) Now: 176(-10)

Begining BF%: 14% Now 12.6%(-1.4)

Supplement Updates

For the week of the 13th i am going to add

Xtend\ICE (BCAA's) thoughout the day. Since ice has no calories i will be adding it into my shakes little each one.

Adding 3g of CM Pre and Post Cardio.

Then the week after i am gonna try NueroStim +C and AMP pre cardio. And compare them to go.

Arrow Update 6/6/2005

Just wanted to update you on my cardio\ abs day:

Run: Run went real well. I selpt good which played a role in the run. I have placed my order for NueroStim+C, AMP and CM to help w\ cardio. I may also try plain NueroStim w\out C. Well see how it goes first!

Diet: Right On no mistakes.

Workouts: Can wait to go the gym tommorrow looking forward to a good workout.

Visual: Fell like my tummy has gotten flatter. And my little boobs are starting to go back. Pics this sunday!

Smile Update 6/8/2005

Training: I lifted at 4:30 this mourning and i liked it since i feel real alert at that time now. I got some nice squats and SLDL's in today so my legs were really sore at work walking around.

Cardio: Its been real good this week. Knock on wood!!

Diet: Right On. I have been swithching my lunch carb around from rice, pearled barley and tommorrow to black beans. Hopefully the beans dont make me to gassy.

Visual: My gf said that me belly and chest looked and felt tigher and along w\ the rest of my body but she noted those seemed like the most.

Side notes: Just got amp, and my CM in today. Real excited to begin that on monday.

Exclamation Update 6/9/2005

Hey guys just a quick update:

Todays status: Cardio\ Abs. Run went real well, and my abs little tight all day. Its really humid in chicago and i noticed i was sweating alot more then normal. I increased water intake to about 2 gallons because of this.

Diet: Good no mistakes. Note: Beans did not add any more gas. I am gonna try some hulled barley and some buckwheat when i order some from bobs redmill. I will also be buying 25lbs of oats (slow cooking) and oat bran.

Visual: Feel tigher but i belive its normal when on a diet. Maybe i can get some responce from you guys this sunday when i update my pics.

Feelings: I feel real good. Enjoying this diet alot. Already told six that i am going to renew.

Notes: I just recived my NueroStim+C, AMP and CM today. Everything smells so good!!!! Cant wait to test it out.

Hey guys,

Nothing really new to report, but here you guys go:

Training: Workouts have been real good. I was able to get up 75lbs on incline db presss. I was pretty happy w\ that. But there is always room for improvement.

Diet: Right on. Will be adjusting next week w\ the addition of xtend.

Cardio: Its been good. Real humid so I am loosing alot of water like alot of water, So my water intake is up like i said before.

Notes: Got all of my new supplements. So i am gitty as a school girl right now. Going to order the Choc, and vanilla of the new substance next week.

Update 6/11/2005

Training: Legs. Today i set a PR for leg press 8x 500lbs. I was pretty pumped and my good workout streak continued. I really like my workout set up that sixpack did for me. I feel like i am gaining strengh even while cutting.

Cardio: Today there wasnt any.

Diet: Right on. Six meals today i dont need the 7th.

Visual: I feel my tummy and chest are tighter. Hopefully you will agree when i update my pics.

More notes: Going to add uni-liver that my dad gave me. 14pills a day thats what six told me. 2 per meal. Big update tomorrow pics, weight, bf.

Update 6\12\2005

Weight: 175lbs
BF: 12.1%

Training: I havent lifted yet on sunday but i do have some DOMS in my legs from yesterday. This is really the first time this has happened to me while on Six's diet.

Diet: Right on no mistakes

Cardio: None today but hopefully Doms will be gone by tommorrow

Here are some pics let me know what you guys think. Hopefully you guys will see some improvement from the last 2 weeks. I start a class on monday and i will start my cardio at 5 am instead of 430. on monday and tuesday and thursday friday will be at 430 still.

Side note new supps are ready to begin.

Update 6\12\2005 #2

Hey guys second update focusing on training:

Training: My arm workout was real good today. I got up to 45lbs on curl and 95lbs on v-bar press down. Tommorrow is an Ab and cardio day so i will update you to after work.

Diet: Right On.

Cardio: Ill tell you tomorrow.

Feelings: I feel real good. Just told six to count me in for another six weeks.

Supps all set for tommorrow. I figure at the end of the next six weeks i will go on a burner. I am going to do an avant labs stack of Heat, Lipoderm ultra and sesathin. Plus the normal ones.

Hey guys thought i would update you guys about my cardio:

Cardio: Cardio felt real good today w\ the addition of the CM. I belive its plabaco effect this time but i am optimistic that it will help in the long run. Im still using BSL GO! and AMP and NueroStim will not be added until i finish go.

Diet: So far right on about to eat breakfast.

Note: I have a class on mon,tues, thursday so i will be able to sleep in until 5-15 am and still be able to preform cardio before class.

Just wanted to say my diet has been right on today and i am feeling real good. I really dont know what else to add for the day nothing really new happened or my feelings havent changed cause i am feeling really well. Although it was funny when i brought out a protein shake and broccoli in the middle of class this mourning.
