    Over-under grip on shrugs

I have a weak grip ( small hands )....and doing over under helps alot when i deadlift. I was wondering can i do the same for barbellshrugs or will that result in weird as traps

Yes you can - BUT I highly suggest that you invest in lifting straps. Those will really help you out with barbell, and dumbbell gripping....

They also help you keep really good form becuase you don't have to keep worrying about your grip all the time....

As previously mentioned straps will be a far better option. Using straps allows me to shrug about 10kg more on each dumbbell than I otherwise would. I'm a short dude so have baby hands also.
