So as as someone from england - a country which is beginning to follow America regards issues with obesity - i am beginning to witness an increase in both numbers and severity of obesity amongst my local community.
The best way to combat is most importantly diet. You simply are what you eat. And its not just good enough enough eating better quality food you must also eat less of it. Only eat in moderation - learn what your body requires to function healthily and dont go beyond it!
Of course knowing that is down to the individual. Its one thing for the government to advertise and promote healthy living... and its certainly their responsibilty to provide the opportunity and facilities to do so.. but ultimately the responsibilty of looking after our personal health is ours alone.
taking on this responsibility is difficult at first - especially if one is used to a different lifestyle.. but quite simply no one has to live with your body other tjan you. But with commitment and consistancy its never too laye to live a healthy lifestyle.
simply put educate yourselves on diet and nutrition and experiment to find what works for you - and when you find it stick to it! Consistancy is key - this lifestyle is for life.
Also exercise - even if just lightly to moderately at least twice a week. And try to walk more. This is the begginning but where it leads and evolves too depends on youYoutube: www.youtube.com/houseofdevlin where i have every friday a new training vlog

Id rather have a chicken tikka wrap than a mcdonald's burger
there are soo many options..not juSt fast foods! but Americans grew up on that. Its soo molded to American culture! fast food sponsers everything from the Superbowl to the Olympic team USA

oh thank you my friend!!!!!! you hit the nail on the head!
I was watchcing "FAST FOOD GONE GLOBAL"
and it featured fast food joints around the world..Subway,Mcdonalds,etc
it was soo nice to see that every culture still kept to their cultural foods. They incorporated theri culture into fast foodI hate to be mean, but Americans really dont have a culture. The "TEXAN" southwestern food is really from Mexico. Soul food brought by slaves from Africa.
