    ice cream

    since i stated weightlifting, i eat pretty clean, no junks, fast food ect. but is ice cream bad for you. i still try to eat decent cause i don;t wanna look like a fat ass when i go to the beach. but i like to eat plain vanilla ice cream
    should i keep eatin or quit

    good question...just count the calories..then take away something in you diet that is equal in calories, if you want to eat it that bad i mean, but dont take out anything thats really good for you, like tuna or something...you know what i mean

    ICE CREAM IS just FAt and Sugar thats it. Its not good for trying to lose weight. Still if its low fat, its loaded with sugar.

    when u do eat ice cream....try the new sugar free ones. edy's also makes a really good sugar free/fat-free ice cream. only chocolate and vanilla flavors though

    i look pretty good right now, i'm inbetween and ecto and a meso, so its kinda hard for me to get really doughy, and i just stick to plain vanilla ice cream, made by blue bell

    idea

    maybe try makin ur own fat-free, sugar free ice cream (hey maybe you can add some protein powder to the mix too!)...u can buy ice cream makers at department stores in the cookingware section...they're pretty easy to use...just an idea!

    thanks femaleteen, but i prefer not to mess with that, and just eat what comes in the can. i'm not after weight loss, but weight gain, though i don't want too much fat. i don't eat hardley anything unhealthy, i just wanted know if eating a big bowl of ice cream a day bad

    quicksilver hows it goin? eating ice cream isnt too bad for you if you eat it at the right time.

    I'm probably just weird, but chocolate protein shakes kind of feed my cravings for chocolate and ice cream. Nlarge doesn't taste that much worse than a real chocolate shake anyways

    With all the replies given to you and all the replies you are giving it seems you are in a set mindset to keep eating it. Yet you are looking for someone on the board to say "Go ahead and eat it, it wont hurt." But if you are on a bulking diet, and already get you max amount of fat and carbs in per day, you'll have to cut out something else and put it in so you don't exceed. If you are bulking unclean, then go ahead and gorge.

    Ice Cream is not necessarily bad for you. Sure it's not healthy, when it comes to micros and keeping you full. The sugar 'yada-yada-yada, bad for your teeth etc'...

    But if you really feel like, you MUST have Ice Cream in your diet. Count it first, the macros, calories etc. And then build the rest of the meal plan around it.

    Ice cream sounds ****ty.
    Its what my mom eats and shes fat.
    I guess it's ok if you take plain.
    But it still sounds ****ty.

    Why not eat frozen yogurt or cold as **** cottage cheese instead ?
