Having a very difficult time selecting my supps...

    Right now I have:

    Whey Protein
    Omega Sports Crea-Ethyl Thunder
    Eclipse 2000 Complex 24

What else am I missing? Is there something better I should replace the others with?

I've been reading and reading, and have been on the chat, I can't find the info I'm looking for. So please, don't give me the "search for it" line. I have, and I can't find it. We were all newbies at some point, so please help me out.

If you have a problem with this post, simply don't answer, I've really tried hard to do my own research, but every other article contradicts the next one I read.

    Thanks everyone,

    -MatthewM

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...op+supplements

    That should help you choose.

IMO The top 3 (in no particular order) are:

    Whey Protein
    Creatine
    Multivitamin

Also, don't be fooled by the supplements that promise overnight muscle gains etc because if you didn't know... THEY DON'T WORK!

Thanks guys, actually the Eclipse 2000 Complex 24 is a multivitamin. I'm gonna go do some research on what EFA's and fish oil are/do for ya.

Any particular brands that are the best? I'm looking for product links here! lol

    -MatthewM

Okay edit: I now have "NOW Salmon Oil" -This is the EFA portion of what was suggested...anything else?

I live in Northwest Indiana. I was planning on buying from this website though...also, out of curiousity, why does location matter?

Cuz I live in the UK and over here they sell this type of protein which has been recognised as the best around as it's BCAA content is extremely high and it's value for money is incredible (Yes, even better than ON whey everyone!!)... But seeing as you don't live in the UK I would suggest you go for the following:

    Whey Protein - ON Whey

Creatine - I would suggest going for 'Higher Power Creatine Monohydrate 100% Pure' as this is the top selling creatine on bodybuilding.com and at $12.95 for 500g you can't go wrong

    Multi - http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/univ/animalpak.html

If there's any other supps you wanna know about just ask...

Don't invest in Animal Pak's, they're are just simple vitamin at a high price.
Go with a simple Multi-vitamin like Centrum Silver or One-A-Day Men's.
Take that twice a day and you get the same nutrients as the Animal Pak.

Yeh I'd suggest taking Peaked's advice actually as I only went by what was the top sellers on BB.com

I don't live in America so I don't know much about their supps.

if youre just starting out matt, id suggest getting a multivitamin, and instead of investing in creatine right from the get go, just buy an extra bucket of protein. have 2 on hand, get ON whey which is a concentrate, and then get a good ol WPI like syntrax nectar.
