how many days should i workout?

Ever since i've been working out, i've been working out 5 days a week ...
    ex...
    mon... back and bi's
    tues... tri's and shoulders
    wed... chest
    thurs... legs
    fri... bi's and tri's
    sat adn sun... off

but then I started reading the body building mags and all the bodybuilders use 3 to 4 day routines...

then i talk to this guy at the gym and he recommends i workout 6 days a week ... working each body part twice a week ...
    ex ...
    mon... chest , shoulder, tri's
    tues... back and bi's
    wed... legs
    thurs... chest , shoulder, tri's
    fri... back and bi's
    sat...legs
    sun... off ...

i'm just curious which is better ???? i'm getting all of these different outlooks from different sources ... can anhyone help me out !?!?!?

    Thanks,

If your training naturally 'without the use of steriods or G.H' I'd train 4 days a week MAX! I personally feel training 3 days a week is perfect for the natural bodybuilder this allows for maximum recovery between workouts..... Keep Pumpin!
