    Creatine during the season???

What do u guys think bout taking creatine during football season. I know it can help but im kinda afraid that i wont be able to get enough water and will become easly dehydrated during practice. Have ne of u taking creatine during a season if so did u notice extra cramping or gettin dehydrated easily.

IMO not the best supplement to take during football. Why are you taking the creatine is it just for football or other reasons? Good supplements to use during football are those that focus on recovery such as glutamine and zma would also be a great choice

I am taking zma and i stoped taking creatine like a month ago.i thought the creatine would be good because it would add a lil extra weight, It is also suppose to help ur sprint time and to keep my strength up during the season along with my protein shake and eating good. But most likely i wont take it because i tend to cramp up a little when im on creatine so during football that wouldnt be good.

So drink tons of water all day, carry a bottle around school, and get as much as possible at practice. You should be taking in at least a gallon a day anyways, a little more is all you need.

I dont know about football but I took creatine during basketball season and I jumped noticeably higher while taking it, probably added 2-3 inches to my vertical, made dunking, boarding, blocking much easier, i didn't really notice excess dehydration but i sweat like a motha anyway, id say go for it but just be careful and be sure to stay hydrated
